The anodized 6061 aluminum fishing harpoon is fitted with a comfort hand grip and an offset mainline ring that helps keep the line away from the throwing end and retrieval of the harpoon. A 20’’ – 3/8 diameter shank with a weighted brass head and traditional bronze dart are rigged with black UV-resistant braided polypropylene straight lay core for an added strength minimizing line bulk weighing 2 lbs. J & L harpoons are used for fishing giant Blue Fin Tuna, Swordfish, Marlin, or any other game fish. Our harpoons are offered in the overall length of 102’’, 1’’ diameter pole. Custom sizes are available.
